Today's my birthday (#32) :D

I've made a habit of buying myself a knife for my birthday over the last few years. The first year I bought myself a Spyderco Spyderfly with VG10 steel, the second I bought a CRKT Voodoo, but later sold it and got a Blur with a S30V blade, I like it much better. This year I was itching for a fixed blade and CDNN had a good deal on a Browning by Tops so I picked it up.

They had them knocked down to $60 for a few days. I always love a good deal and an excuse to by a new knife.;)
 
I didn't really finish my post earlier, my wife was ready to go, she was going to take me our for breakfast.

Anyway, my first knife was a birthday present from my grandpa. It was a 3 blade old timer that I still have.

So, tell me what knives you have received for a birthday?
 
Happy birthday Flashpoint, I received a SAK birthday gift from my sister many, many years ago. I still have it and will cherish it forever. I think she knew I would.

Happy Birthday!! Today was my Birthday as well!! I recived a Mike Obenauf model 2 framelock folder with a drop point blade.
 
My girlfriend and I split the cost of: Red Crawford Survival Staff with custom shepards hook, and a Boye Dendritic Cobalt folder. She has given me a lot, among which was CRKT 1* Red M16, Crawford Falcon& Edgie folders. My Mom gave me a red Buck Mini in the eighth grade that stays in my wallet. My brother has given me a Cold Steel Bad Axe among other things. I love that my family knows what I want for my birthdays and for that I feel very lucky.
 
Mine is upcoming and I'm hoping that the Crawford Raider will be ready. I have found that if I don't give the knife to myself, I will not get a knife!!
