I just took a look at the Busse site. Looks like Busse is getting back to basics and listening to the squeels of the piglets (and hogs). No grooves on the blades and offering double-cut Cg's. Great. I just want to know if my eyes are playing tricks on me or not. Looks like the CG's are around .32" thick while the LE's are only around .225" thick. Is that correct? The CG's are thicker than the LE's? My pick would be a Black and Tan Magnum G-10 handle with a double cut blade. I would prefer the thinner LE blade but find those Magnum G-10 handles to be the coolest by far. My 2 sense.

They probably take the same blade blank, and have to grind more metal away to get the satin finish on the LEs.

That's unlikely. See also: BATAC LE significantly fatter than BATAC CG, FBM LE same thing, etc. The thicker blades generally start from thicker stock.

Take your 2 cents, add $296.98 and get yourself that FATTY:D:thumbup:. I think your color combo will be sweet lookin'. I think I hear a HOG burp coming.

I'm not 100% sure but I would highly doubt if the LE are ground from the thick .320 stock. That would be A LOT of INFI to waste on the floor. Busse has many thicknesses stocked for a variety of blades.

No, that's $297 fore the basic CG, more $75 for the G-10 magnum handle and $80 for the double cut blade which comes to a grand total of $452 plus shipping. Add about $75 for a sheath. Must resisit the temptation.

Resistance is futile. You may as well enjoy the ride.
