A little back story- I've been eying JK knives for a while and when he had his get together in May I went. It was great to meet him and a few fellow forum members. I enjoyed getting to see and handle several different knives, which is always better than just looking at photos. I was telling my wife about it, and about a few of the knives I liked. Low and behold she contacted John and had one of his Pack Knives made for me for my birthday. It was a total surprise. Here it is.
I took it out in the yard and made a few curls out of a piece of hickory. It did that effortlessly. (I was in a hurry the mosquitoes are bad this year)
I was thinking of making a little neck kit out of it similar to what pict had done. I've never tried to carry a knife around my neck, but think it might be handy with a pack on so it doesn't interfere with the straps and is always on you.
