Birthday treats!

Yesterday was my birthday, and since I had been such a good boy for the past year (hey, it sounds good at least!) I decided to treat myself...ordered a carbon fiber Stretch II w/ZDP-189 and a carbon fiber Kopa. They'll both be here in a couple of days. Can't wait!

I've always been attracted to the CF Stretch, but never pulled the trigger.

Kopas I have never owned either, but always admired.

Can't go wrong with CF! ;]

Both knives arrived in yesterday's mail. Incredible.

The Kopa is very nice. A little larger than I expected (which is NOT a problem!). Beautifully made. What a gorgeous "gentleman's" knife for when I am dressed for business, or out on the town.

The Stretch II is a large, brute of a knife. Very, very solid. Mine came razor sharp. Fits my hand perfectly. A knife that begs to be used, and used hard. One question, though...how do you remove the screws on the clip so that it can be repositioned? I prefer to carry tip-down. :cool:

Many thanks for talking me into the Stretch II folks! Both of these knives are gonna be great companions for a long, long time.
