Saw a news flash on CNN that made me chuckle. Seems the Indian railroads have been having problems -- not sure what kind but enough to cause the Minister of Transportation a problem -- when asked for an explanation he blamed Bishwakarma, the God of the kamis who is responsible for metal, tools and machines, saying that He was probably angry about something.

You gotta love it!

Over here the excuse would be "an act of God".

Well if they are missing miles and miles of track, maybe the blame is in the right place... ;)

With the diabolical state of the rail services over here :grumpy: , it's only a matter of time before the Minister for Transport latches on to this as the latest excuse ;)

It looks like he's got some coax cable in one of his right hands. The kind of stuff you use for hooking up an antenna.

Here in San Juan, the government has been trying to get our new Metro-rail system to finally work after years of construction. I hope that they do not learn about the “Bishwakarma Excuse” from the Indian Minister of Transportation.
