Bishwakarma puja is finally complete. It has taken the better part of the morning to get it done. Now the event turns from a religious one to social. The goat will be cleaned, butchered and cooked as seen in these pix.

Now the men will visit, drink beer, chang, and Nepali wine, and wait for the meal to be cooked and served. It is a lively time.

Khukuri FAQ

:
What size khukuri was used to skin the goat Bro?

I am gonna try to get out squirrel hunting this year. I am thinking the little kagas katne may be just about the right size for squirrels.

The hardy adventurer just drank from a stream he thought was pure glacier fed water not knowing that upstream was being used by a herd of yaks as a giant bidet.

I said he was hardy, not smart.:-)

Yvsa, I am not sure. They had the job done so fast I missed it -- and I was busy drinking beer and socializing with all the old timers who don't come to the shop on a regular basis.
