September 17th is the Bishwakarma Puja at the shop in Nepal. This very special Puja is celebrated with the shop and all the tools being cleaned and blessed, sacrifices made to their Hindu Gods and a festival of rejoicing. All of the craftsmen we have extend hearty greetings and sincere thanks to all the forumites who continue to support their work through Himalayan Imports.

I think I speak for everyone when we extend our own hearty greetings and sincere thanks to the hard working Kami's, Sarki's and Auntie and family who provide us with the knives we love so much.

I hope Kumar is well enough to attend and take part in the festivities. Also hope they share a few pictures, always enjoy those very much.

Happy BishwaKarma Puja to everyone at HI!

Pics would be fantastic as always.

A joyous feast to all! My blessings and thanks to each and every one of you.
May you stay healthy, safe, and prosper, and whenever Kumar says "Hey, y'all, watch THIS!", please run for cover. Prayer for healing for Kumar each and every day until he returns.

Happy Bishwakarma to everyone in the HI family. Blessings and positive energy to everyone associated with this wonderful company. Thank you Aunt Yangdu for everything that you do!

I'll second that. What he said!

I spiffed up my blacksmith shop yesterday. Smoke was up this afternoon. May the entire HI family & friends receive blessings from on high.

May the shops be well blessed for safety and productivity. Blessings to all.

Had a little puja in my blacksmith shop with help from an old friend (retired Brigadier from New Delhi). Niru said that he and his father used to celebrate back in India when his Dad had a shop. Niru was surprised that I was doing this and also had the deity's picture hanging in the shop, so he jumped in to lend a hand. He uses the name Vishwakarma and I was using Bishwakarma. Yes, Kamidog, we ate very well.

Master Kami Bura came to the new shop and celebrated the BishwaKarma Puja with BirGorkha staffs. It was so nice see Bura Kami again.
Greetings from Bura Kami to Forumites and HI online store customers!
