There are some surprisingly tall people from Nepal today, compared to WWII. The kids seem like they will be as tall as Uncle Bill in the picture. I guess the kids are getting bigger in Nepal as the rest of the world.

We are standing on a slope running downhill toward the camera. Take a look at the bottom picture and compare my height to those in the same row. At 5' 11" I still tower over almost everybody. It is a rare Nepali who will reach 6 feet or more past and present both.

The hat is the Nepali topi which is fairly common as you can see.
