Here are some rehandled axes. We have a Norlund rafting axe, Zenith double bit, unknown cruiser and a #4 Warnock hewing axe. The Zenith is what got me interested in axes as it's my Grandpas. My dad gave me the axe and I did the research on fixing them up. The bits were nicked up and the handle damaged. Couldn't source a double bit handle locally so made one out of ash. I also made the leather mask. The unknown cruiser is also home made and ash while the other handles are purchased hickory. Now I'm on the search for axe heads and like to fix them up. The cruiser and Warnock were completely rusted when purchased so I had no idea if manufacturer names were on them. Needless to say seeing the Warnock name was a nice surprise.
