I was sharpening my Endura 4 Wave on my leather belt and with a slight distraction my hand that was pulling tension on the belt loosened and I pushed my ring finger right on to the blade as I was pulling the blade up. hah Luckily it was a minor cut only being about half an inch, but it was deep and didn't stop bleeding.

A. Hosipital for such a ridiculous little annoying cut.
B. Super Glue

Option B had it's way all nice and closed up. :]

I hadn't owned my first Spyderco for more than ten minutes before it bit me.

I wasn't used to the opening hole, and the blade was a bit stiff. My thumb slipped out of the hole and onto the blade. The cut was about an inch long and a quarter of an inch deep. It didn't bleed all that much, and I bandaged it up pretty quickly (with the provided bandaids... another plus ordering few New Graham). It was pretty well healed the next day.

It really made me appreciate how sharp Spydercos come out of the box.

That was about four years ago with an Endura, and I haven't been bitten by a Spyderco since. I poked myself enough to draw blood with my new Paramilitary, but not really a cut.

Also, don't let manly pride get in the way of going to the hospital if you really need to. A little cut isn't gonna need stitches, but you don't wanna play around with a sliced tendon.

Seriously I was just polishing the factory edge when my finger barely push onto the blade straight on. It wasn't even a slice. I literally just pressed the top of my ring finger onto the blade and game over hah

lol trust me if serious enough I'd go to the hospital in a heart beat but yeah any minor flesh wound can be easily taken care of at home.

Medical glue=super glue
Stairy Stip=Tape

just bigger words for something you have at your house.

i have cut myself so many times over the years i honestly couldn't put a number on it . i have sharpened many , many knives and i cook just about 7 days a week so i tell people "if you play with knives enough , your bound to get cut" . the "good" thing about cutting yourself with a sharp knife is that the cut is very "clean" and it will heal fast .
