Bit of a strange request...but

I have a couple of Condor Undertakers that I wish to modify. They have lanyard holes at the end of the grip, but I hate para cord sometimes, it catches in brush. I want to put something through the hole that can be used as a base for grip retention, so that it doesn't slip out of hand on a swing. There has to be something that I can do easily, other than just snug a bolt and nut on the end, which is ugly and crude. Any ideas are welcome, as I don't seem to have the imagination to come up with a better method. Thanks.

Just a leather string with one nod ? Won't catch ....

Or how about a long brass chicago nut ?

Use the paracord to wrap the end of the handle, making sort of a pommel. The lanyard hole could be used to anchor the cord, I would think.

I'm not an expert in using paracord for wrapping handles. But many others here are, and could likely direct you to some good threads on the topic and throw in some very creative ideas.

Things I’ve seen on construction jobs:

A 4” rubber O ring girth hitched through the lanyard hole.

A loop of steel cable secured with an aluminum ferrule.

Loop of #12 copper wire pinched down and soldered.

you can wrap some paracord around the pommel and then put some heat shrink tube over it
