bit/reamer source

Okay, so I went ahead and took Bit-Use 101...now supposedly I am wiser in the ways of the world for it. Anyway, all the college uses as a supply source is pretty much MSC or Do-All because the school account covers whatever the price may be.

I'm pretty much sold on sticking with cobalt drills and HSS straight flute reamers with a good cutting fluid for most of my drilling needs.

BUT, I'm wondering where you guys prefer to order these sort of things from. ??????

The same place . I like carbide better it last much longer. J&l is a good source also .
Look in our archives here on shop talk . There is a long list of places to get all types of items.

I like www.Travers.com they will send you a big catalog free and they have specials in smaller catalogs they send every once in a while. They have about everything for machine work and it is good quality.
