Not cut yet... but kinda on a run. Got a RAM here a few weeks back and I really liked it. Kept hearing about Skylines so I figured I needed one of those too. Got a blem from Kershawguy and it's a beauty. Then thought maybe I need something heavy duty. Well now I'm up to 3. Sure wish the Knockout would be available. :D

You need a Leek and a Blur also. I'd suggest the S30V Blur and pretty much any Leek. You'll see from my sig that I'm quite partial to Blurs though and Leek Freek to leeks, so you aren't getting the most unbiased opinions :P

You know, the 1st Kershaw I ever bought was a scallion and I can't think of one single thing I liked about it. No offense but it just didn't blow my skirt up. It still sits basically new in the box. So I can only assume that the Leek would be no different. After that one I bought one for the boy child for his first knife and in a matter of 2 months the spring assist broke so we ditched it and I got him a RAT 1 folder to take with him when he joined the air force.

I actually spent the last 3 years not even looking at Kershaws because of that knife, then I got the RAM. Really love that knife, probably more than the Skyline and the ZT. I'm sure I can find more Kershaws to throw money at though. I have looked at the Blur as well but not crazy about aluminum handles although I am really liking this RAM a lot. I am kinda on the fence with the ZT though. I have pretty small hands and it is quite the handful. I'll either get used to it or find it a new home.

I do have to say though that this Skyline, albeit simple in construction is just an awesome little knife. my finger is so damn sore from flipping that I can barely open it this morning. Oh the tragedy haha.

Get a JYD...it's another great flipper from Kershaw. Or wait until the Cryo comes out if you don't mind a chinese knife. It's a Hinderer collaboration flipper.

I like to buy US knives if possible but I have absolutely no problem buying a Chinese knife that is well made. I own a bunch of Spyderco's that were made in Japan, China and Taiwan. Quality is quality no matter where it's made. I am trying to expand myself somewhat because I am a lefty and get a real hard on for production models without a lefty option but I do like this skyline regardless.

Ah,a lefty. Have you ever looked at the bumps? Speed bumps, spec bumps, offset, and the mini mojo are all good for leftys. Of course you could just be satisfied with what you already have :)

Yeah, like that is going to happen. I have spent 7 years looking for the one and it's always the one until the next "one" comes along. :) I'll check out the ones you posted. I really want that knockout though.

EDIT: Just checked them out. Damn recurves. Just don't like them at all. That is part of the reason I am just not sure about this ZT other than the size. BAck to the drawing board.
