Bitten by the bug again; about to order the 4th knife in two days..

It all started when I needed a stout fixed blade for goofing around with wood in my back yard. I started searching this site again for suggestions and recommendations. I think this was a mistake..:mad:

Yesterday I ordered a Condor Bushcraft Basic 5 and thought I'm done.

But just now after some more searching and browsing I ordered a Victorinox Signature because I misplaced my Vic. Rally.
And while at it, I thought I better order a Vic. Soldier (old type) before they run out of those.

And I'm in the midst of ordering a Condor Hudson Bay because..I actually have no idea, I just want one.

So, I am counting on you lot to keep me from buying any more knives. :thumbup:
So, let's hear the friendly and fatherly comments about saving my money for real stuff like clothes and "later".
 
When the General Forum has topics like: Name your poison(s)!!, EDC!-Which knife or knives are you carrying today??? and Why Multiple Of The Same Knife?

You have to ask yourself, are you asking for help in the right place? Or maybe you don't want to be helped at all... :)
 
well if it helps i will be more then willing to take some of those knives off your hands

I tend to buy in spurts too, as interest in this hobby rises and falls in relation to all of my other hobbies. There's a lot of competition for my time and money these days...

But after being away for some time, I recently resumed reading Bladeforums and fondling the knives in my collection. I ordered about ten new ones last week, including a new Condor...

So yeah, don't do what I do. :)
 
Add up all that you spent on lower end offerings and think how close you could have come to buying 1 excellent knife. That's what I do now. My knife count is way down but man I have some nice knives. ;)
 
No one knows what tomorrow brings.....so, buybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuybuy some knives!:thumbup::thumbup::D

I can do something for you: don't believe the members who will tell you the Sebenza is a must have. Never. It's only a matter of will.

I am waiting on my hisshou and It may be hard to believe but I'm not really thinking about getting any others right now.
