Am I crazy or is this a decient collection.

Nice start. Wait until you get the traditional folder bug and get into SAKs, Case, GEC's, etc.

That is awesome.
don't be discouraged. i have a mother, sister, and several older relatives who feel the same way about my habit. don't let it get to you. enjoy your knives and be proud that your are making this a slightly sharper world

Welcome, I'm fairly certain that almost everyone here understands. If they didn't they'd feel pretty foolish. That collection is a good start. I'd add an ESEE, Spuderco Military, and a ZT 0301 to help round it out. Also, throw in a couple of GEC and Case knives and you'll be set for a month.
Also, smaller text is better than the huge, just sayin'

Good start! I think the majority here are perhaps in the same boat. At One time so was I, but now I'm divorced and a happy man! Wasn't over the knives though.

Once "bitten by the bug" it takes real willpower to just stop. For most who are true knifeknuts, there usually is no such thing as stop!

Welcome to the madness!:thumbup::)

Sorry bout the size, didnt know it would be that big.Oh forgot about my CS Master Hunter San Mie.Shit I cant spell it. Any way have already talked to whats his name at Tops today about a Smatchet, he said watch the web site one resembling Col Applegates oraginal is in the works. One of Special forces top 5 combat knives. Thanks for the replys,

I got a Kershaw Volt II exactly a week ago. Friday, January 7th. Today I got the Kershaw Half-Ton. Friday, January 14th. As for Friday, January 21st. Probably the Kershaw Clash...

I understand all the way!

Its a bad bug...:D:...and the comments will only get worse the more your collection grows.

I show every knife to my FIL, its easy to determine a gift when you see his reaction.....I also collect uncle henry knives to give to him, its fun to see his reaction when I hand him a new one

Spyderco - You'll never look back

its no different than people collecting nice watches or fountain pens.

Since those happen to be the other things I'm interested in, I'd have to agree.

I don't really care about the disapproving looks. My friends are going to see my new knives whether they like it or not! :D Plus, if you keep showing people your knives, you might get someone else interested. That's what happened to me, and I've influenced two others so far.

I don't bother showing too many people my newest blade additions anymore.Even my friends quit understanding my affliction years ago.

It's not a real "collection" since I'm a user........The hawks, axes, and hatchets shouldn't count since they're not knives and neither are the flashlights............I'm not an addict, I can quit whenever I want.....doesn't everyone carry more than one knife every day?
Seriously the knives make more sense than many other collections because of the way they maintain value. My family and friends still don’t fully understand me but have accepted my interest. Don’t even ask about my fly-rods or revolvers.

You guys have a great sense of humor,Knifenut1013 I LMAO when I read your post. Ive taken Revdevils suggestion and Im real impressed with ESEE and there warranty thats why Ive picked up the Izula and WOW do I like this little blade. The little blade that could! Ive never been attracted to a necker knife b4 but my new EDC is the Izula and the ESEE 4 serrated.
