Have any of you tried this combo of shelter for fishing trips?
Also.. have you ever rested against a wall or tree or cliff or rock in a Bivvy bag and a poncho over head and used it for overnighters or longer trips ?
Did it make striking a bite easyer, did it make it easyer to hear a bite alarm or prey animal noise etc?
Or tried this for any other activity needing to stay alert yet waterproofed and sleepable if need be, long hikes without getting too ill from lack of good sleep or was it great comfy cosy sleep, I should imagine a walking pole would prop the poncho so you could lie down flat too?.
