Bizarre BK7 knife "review"

What language is that in? It vaguely mimics English but I don't think it could possibly be a dialect.

;)

Well, he's right. It's a damn good knife. No, his grammar is not the best in the world, but I've seen a whole lot worse right here on BF.

He or she (anonymous) is apparently not a native English speaker. Probably Southeast Asian (Malaysia, Singapore, etc).

Kenash,

To be fair, I read another review on that site on the bk9. He really likes the nine so he's good with me.

As I read further and got past the fact that English wasn't his first language, I started to realize that he may have put the knife through a bit of use, it wasn't a bad review as you said. It sounds like Southeast Asia (Vietnam?) is where he used it.

I thought that was a great video... Guy gets right to it with no boring intro music and crap, no boring pointless babbling. Better than 99% of the knife reviews on yuotub

JD,

Were you able to open the video? My browsers wouldn't. I looked up the video on YouTube and found it. It's a Australian sounding guy who did the review. It was a good review. It may have not been made by the person who wrote up the article.

BTW, I don't own a 7 and have been looking at it for awhile. It seems like a good all purpose knife. Why say the Beckerheads? I'm starting to regret the title I started, it's a pretty decent article.

Yep. You said it. I can easily get around a little "broken" English, as some call it. I really find it annoying when someone types out a paragraph with relatively decent wording and just seems to purposefully ignore punctuation. I don't usually read very much when that happens.

Well I'm German and If I did a review in english, it would probably not much better. Anyway, the guy seems to love the 7 as much as I love mine and therefore his point is still valid:)
So Becker Knives are used and praised all around the world and this is something to be proud of!:)

Yes Sir!! And hat's off to Mr. Ethan Becker for his awesome designs applied to an ancient tool concept. And of course, to Ka-Bar for the fine manufacture of said tools.

I passed on the vid until I saw Nikki's post and I couldn't resist.
100% agree! Absolutely fantastic!
Obviously not from the person who wrote the article.
Funny and informative.

I can't stop watching his youtube channel now. It's solid gold.

Can you post a link? I couldn't figure it out on my phone...it only opens it in the thread then a bunch of Tanner crap pops up...

Subscriber. I have been watching Alfie for over a year. Since he started his camp aesthetics series. He really loves and abuses his BK7's. He mixes a hilarious sense of humor with some decent outdoor skills. He also seems to know the scientific name for about everything in the forest. He is from the UK and his HEAVY accent is part of the fun for me.
