I dunno if anyone else ever watches Bizarre Foods on the travel channel, but the guy is always using different knives, but they rarely show any shots good enough for me to identify them. However,i know that alot of you, my fellow forumites, can identify just about any knife from just a glimpse of a partial handle scale or the very tip of a blade. So if anyone watches the show and can ID any of the knives that would be cool.
 
Let's see if we can get a more focused audience for the question in this new subforum.
 
maybe, its not usually kitchen knives on the show, usually folders and fixed blades, one show he had a leatherman wave, but thats the only knife i've been able to identify.
 
i know i've seen him use a mora a few times and i believe he had an emerson at one point.
 
I haven't watched that show, but I used to play the knife identification game while watching Alton Brown's Feasting On Asphalt and Feasting On Waves series. Brown is a big Kershaw guy. In fact, I bought a Zero Tolerance ZT 302 after seeing him cutting up some food with one - although I have used it for more "outdoorsy" uses than that! :)

I've noticed the wide variety of knives he's carried. And traveling with knives has gotten to be difficult. Particularly air travel. I've just been assuming he's been using what ever was easily available locally. Which could be interesting if he was more of a knife knut.

Are you talking about Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman? Hmm...I've never actually noticed that he was using/carrying knives. I'm usually too grossed out by what he's eating to notice anything else. I'll keep an eye out for it next time...
