BK-1 Brute. . . Where to find

Lee here from Grand Junction, Colorado, Last month working in Utah, my BK-1 Brute was stolen from my truck. I'm sick, used to sleep with that baby, honestly. Used it for everything. Please, someone let me know where I can find a new Becker Brute. K-Bar doesn't list it with their Becker stuff. Such a great design should being made. If not now, is it going to be in the works soon? Please!

You'll have to be lucky. They were discontinued awhile ago. Here's an excerpt from a post from Mr. Becker (from 2008) as to why:

The BRUTES that are out there ,I fear are the last of the lot...It was a looker,but honestly it was not that effective in the field compared say, to the MACHAX and it really did not sell well... The MAGNUM CAMP, whose blade design was by the extraordinarily talented Jerry Fisk was a REAL sleeper in the effectiveness department ..... It is an amazing design BUT, it did not sell worth a damn.....Sorry guys...

You could try posting a WTB ad or keep an eye out on the exchange, though I only see one listed for sale in new condition within the last year.

Word has it they won't be re-making that one. If you can't find one used, you could always explore the BK-9 - you may find you like that one better anyway.
