i've a friend with a wife that spends money on the most amazing SHITE you've ever seen. plastic doodads, one use toys that the kids destroy, but "they're cheap! they come from the dollar store, or walmart, it's not like you with your TOYS"... she spends $$$ per week on junk that ends up in the trash. he saves $$ per month, and then then every 3-4 months, buys a toy that lasts, can be sold/traded for good stuff, but still gets crap for "his hobbies", then she just buys MORE crap to "make up for it". i love it.
