i've had a necker for a while but i never carried it, i got the scales

still didn't carry it. even though it goes great with my brute

I believe i was edcing a izula or a brkt imp most of the time at the moment. i think i just really didn't care much for the stock necker sheath.
then for some reason i tried it in a ssss bushcraft D and it was a match made in heaven.

slowly i began to relize what a fantastic slicer this little guy was, with quite the utility side as well.
then i was lucky enough to win a custom sheath from our own marion poff here on the fourm, another match made in heaven, slick little sheath good lock-up carries great ( baldric style for me at the moment) and goes even better with the brute now, which is wearing survial sheath system drop leg. What a combo.

the BK-11 gets more and more belt time everyday :D

thank you marion

and thank you mr.becker

i keep thinking KaBar needs their own bushcraft items for the Becker line, including firesteels, and alternate sheeths

I couldn't agree more. I'm hopin' the tweeners will be a stride in the right direction. I'm looking into options for busher items, but I still haven't heard back from Kabar on the logo. I gotta meet with Ethan this week to talk it over and get his take, so we'll see. But firesteels, and billy pots would be awesome.

i'm looking forward to the tweeners as well i prefer a 4 inch blade (give or take a few) in the woods. billy pots sound cool too.

My BK-11 has grown on me! It never leaves the belt, EDC all day. Horizontal cross draw on the belt, perfect.

You started this thing just to show off your Brute, didn't you? Jerk face. Nice knives though.

Never had much interest in the Izula/BK11 size class. Too much of an 'in between' for me. The tweeners, however...

Cool pic buddy. I'm still debating on whether to put my green micarta on my Brute or 2. Looks like I'll be needing more micarta.....and more Becker woods tools. :)

WOW! Marion sure makes some nice leather. That combo is the dog's dangly bits!!!

I debated and hemmed and hawed over choosing an Izula, BK11 or Paklite Skinner. The Paklite Skinner won out ($14!) and i bought Izula's for the kids (Pink for daughter and Black for son).

However, i'm looking long at the BK11 - i really thinks it's the just right size. I'll be adding one soon!!!

I couldn't agree more. I've long thought that would be a really good boost to the lineup — think I even mentioned it a quite awhile back.

Now that's some stuff I'd like to work on.

the leather sheath i have the bk11 housed in one of the pics is a sharpshooter sheathsystems product, marion did the kydex sheath for the bk11.
