First, no picks yet. Haven't had time. Super quick shipping from Knifeworks. Turns out they're in Louisiana as well and I had the blade the next day.

Anyway, let's get to it. I really like the Ritter stocks over the Grivory. They feel...softer, so to speak. I'm going to play with the plugs a bit, but like the balance as it came from the factory. It helps make a heavy blade feel fast. I like the 6" blade length and its profile.

The sheath...well...I may be looking to some of our makers to see if one can produce something for me. I anticipate this blade becoming my favorite Becker.

Congrats! I love my Bk-12. I ditched the stock sheath and got a combat master sheath for it. Also added micarta grips. Use it well

I've seen pics of them on the interwebz. Looks like it would be a good knife to take out in the bayou for sure.

It it a great knife indeed. The sheath is really good quality for the style. If that design isn't your thing, I understand.

Strangely, the sheaths on my other Beckers haven't been a problem. And this sheath really is no different than the sheath on my 7. But for some reason, I don't find this one good enough. I'll keep it to use on my vest, but ordered a little something from The 710 for field carry.

. . . Super quick shipping from Knifeworks. Turns out they're in Louisiana as well and I had the blade the next day. . . .

Did you have the blade engraved? Is so what do you think of their engraving . . . ??

No, I didn't get it engraved. Thought about it, then decided it wasn't necessary.

I might have to pick this knife up this summer. I have only handle one and it felt really good in my hand and I would love to have it in my collection.

I would also like to see this blade adapted to the tweener size minus the thumb ramp. That would be awesome.

Is that the one made with the weights so you can adjust the feel to blade heavy or handle heavy?

I always forget the 12 even exists and then someone posts a thread on it and i'm always here thinking "why the heck don't i own 2 of these yet??"

This is really the only full size Becker that has my interest. Doesnt help that its made by Rowen, nothing aginst Ka-bar but I think Rowen does 1095 a bit better.

Rowen gets everything out of 1095 that it has to offer. This collaboration was true inspiration on the part of all concerned. I was able to buy one from a guy who did not ues it because he wanted something bigger and the price was really right.
