Does anybody make extension scales for the BK-14, that effectively lengthens the handle?

I know I'm not alone in feeling that the handle is just a bit too short.

Nope you ain't alone. But my Bk24 is more than managable for the most part though. Love the knife. Would like to have a little longer grip though so interested what others have to say about extened scales. Have Izula micarta on there right now.

Doubt there are any you could just buy off the shelf, but I know I've seen members make their own extended scales for one of the neckers - may have been an 11, though.
I'll search a bit more for the thread.

In the meantime, get a nice piece of hardwood and show us how it's done!

I had Izula micarta on mine, but the Becker scales work much better, at least for me.

Don't have a lot of woodworking tools in my apartment. :D

I don't like wood scales in any case.

That's gonna make it tought I guess.

I did find one old thread on it, though it's not the one I was thinking of so there's at least 1 more.

Micarta isn't that much harder to work - just need a respirator and sharp tools - but if you don't have 'em, or a garage/workshop, well - I see your dilemma.
You might hit up Crimsonfalcon07, FAL'ER, or 710 and see if they're interested in taking on a project.

Warrior has a nice one! I just need a bit to find the thread

Well, I don't have extended scales, but the rock I have on the end gives my pinkie a good, solid grip on the knife.
