Hi guys, new here. I so wanted the bk15 but realised that its discontinued. Really wanted it to be my first knife 😤. Can anyone please tell me why Ethan and team took this beauty off? I know I can go for the other tweeners but why? It was so cool.

BTW, This is my first post and I usually spend lots of time here everyday and really love and enjoy what you guys do. BF ROCKZZ!!

Welcome to the forum. Sadly, it is discontinued and prices are starting to reflect it. It is a great blade and they do pop up on the auction site from time to time. A few of us did stock up, so I have a feeling you will be able to get one at some point. The BK15 is my only tweener and I love it. Good luck on your quest, but be prepared because BK&Ts are like Lay's potato chips.

From my understanding it was due to sales. Probably outshined by the beloved 16 and classic style of the 17. Once they went on clearance, they quickly sold out. Theyre still around here and there just keep Ur eyes open.

You'll be able to find one from a member or on the auction site soon. Keep an eye out it's a great knife.

The 5 and 15 are great blades. Shame that sales were not stronger. Like others have already said, keep an eye out for them on the forum and the other obvious sale sites and I'm sure you'll find one.

In the meantime, consider picking up one of the many other great Becker blades!

What he said.

Welcome aboard; it would appear that you have great tastes in blade shapes. The 5 and the 15 are very usable shapes but because so many purchase based upon style and what a knife looks like in a picture on their monitor, these two great knives seemingly didn't produce the revenue to continue production.

Thanks Salty and I totally agree with you about the mall ninja types.

Haven't been on the forum in a while so I'm out of the loop right now.
When I saw this forum thread I thought it was another 'discontinued' thread that has been posted for the last couple of years. So the BK4 and BK15 are discontinued now? Any others? Wish I had the $$ to buy users/collectors, but that isn't in the cards. Fortunately, I've got one of each, and the way they're built I shouldn't NEED more.

I found out about the 15 when I found a smoking deal on one when they got discoed. Bought it on a whim. Should have bought a few more for the stupid price I bought it for. :(

I used it bone an Elk out by myself a couple of miles deep into the timber. I am sold on the design. If I wasn't a new father in the middle of a big move cross country I would be swooping up as many as I can.

Gratuitous pic below. :) I am gonna seriously over share this picture. :D
