Is there any production bushcraft style leather sheaths that fit a bk 15 in a out there that are high quality?

The Kabar 'short' leather sheaths (Brown 1251S, Black 1256S) fit the 15 and are quite good. They can be found online for $10 delivered.

For something of 'high quality' you might as well go custom. Dex at CoyleOutdoors.com does excellent work.

I have mine in one of the short Kabar sheaths and it works well for me. It was a little snug when I first got it but I just let it sit in the sheath for 24 hours and now I have no issues with it.

you did and thats what led me to buying mine - A big thank you NCSlice.

Hey, I'm here to help lol. I gave the black one to my big bro (43yo goth guy lol) he loved it. His first real Knife and he still raves on about it. Well, I really missed it so I swapped the ol' peanut butter back to black and ordered another black sheath. Too easy at $10. So I'm back in black lol.
If you use liners, you have to stretch the strap. After snapping the strap I worked the handle up into the strap over the next few days until it was near the center of the Palm swell. Now it's really easy to close one handed as its slightly loose but still very secure. Really, I'd say it's perfect.

Also, I flipped the strap because I prefer to pull the snap to open and push to snap closed. Not sure why, but it feels backwards the way it comes from the factory.

Agreed, thanks NCSlice, your thread got me the info I needed for mine as well.

Also, I believe they will all fit but I can only confirm the 15 and the 17. I don't have a 16 as of yet. It will be a decent amount longer (1.5" maybe) than the blade on the 17 but that really doesn't bother me.

I have one of each tweener , do they all fit in the short kabar sheath or just the 15?
Confirmed - all Tweeners will fit.

As already noted, in a brand new sheath, it wll be a snug fit but the leather will stretch to mold perfectly. The snap will be the tightest but will stretch. I used folded paper as a spacer, gradually folding it thicker and thicker until the snap's fit was perfect.

Thx again NCSlice.

I use the short kabar for my 15 and 16 but the 16 is a decent bit shorter.. I like to wear it where I stick the blade tip end into my back pocket so it's a bit for low-pro.
