Bk 15 sheath option

After making, thicker than stock, ebony handles for my BK 15 I needed a new sheath. Like many things in life this project got put aside. I continued to use the knife in the house. I thought about ordering a custom sheath from one of the custom makers. I read a thread where someone used a Kabar sheath. I thought about ordering some leather and stitching one up myself. What I ended up with might end up being temporary, but it is good enough for now. I ordered a Case XX x-large Finn sheath. It was cheap and I was hopeful it would fit. It is a perfect fit for my knife.

Can't use Photobucket anymore for 3rd party hosting, unless you pay the ransom of $399 per year. Most, it seems, are using Imgur now.

No problem man. Sheath fits great. Nice handles on that 15 too.

The sheath worked out nicely for ya. I've been known to throw the rooster in a different hen house now and then.

Nice knife and sheath.--- "Case XX x-large Finn sheath"----- I need a sheath for mine

Does that sheath have a belt loop on the back?

.

Wow!

Love me some BK-15 porn.

Good catch on the sheath.

JD Miller Sheath has belt loop on the back. I think I am going to put a ring on it with a chicago screwed leather strap to loop it on things. The leather of the sheath is fairly flimsy and cheap feeling, but it is a good tight fit and priced right.
Thanks for the kind words about the handles.
