Love my tweeners, not too fond of the sheaths. There are some talented sheath makers out there, but the sheaths cost more than the knife. Found a leather crafting class I'm gonna take that starts in January. I know it will take time to get good, so between now and then I had an idea....

For $15 I picked up an Ontario Air Force/ pilot survival knife sheath. It will be a pretty good fit with a couple minor adjustments. There are 2 rivets that secure the flap for the font pocket which will scratch the blade. I've covered them with some epoxy and that issue is solved. The retention strap is a little big, but I think it can be shrunk. If not it won't be difficult to replace with a smaller one.

A Doan magnesium fire starter is really tight when forced into the front pocket. Knock down the edges and it's a better fit.

I'll try to come back and update after I'm done and have carried it for a while.

what makes that sheath better than the stock? maybe its because I have never liked that pilots sheath but it seems really awkward, bulky(seems way to wide), retention cant be that good, no molle attachment. I dont mind the stock sheath though and other than maybe being a little long feel it is an excellent value and the front pouch seems bigger on the stock than that one

Just my opinion of course and to each his own
