BK-16 too short for your mitts?

You all remember how Dubz said he didn't like the 16 because the handle was too short? Well, long story short, I had Dubz send me a pic with his hand next to a ruler so I could size a 16-styled handle to his mitts. I came up with this:

Anyways, I figure everyone should get a chance to appreciate how awesome Ethan's design is. So Dubz, send me your addy again (I'm afraid I lost it AGAIN, sorry), and I'll get this one shipped out to you next week. I'll try to whip up some kydex, but I still suck at it, so it won't be anything super awesome like Eli or Al's work.
 
I actually did make a modified neck-knife sized one--Izula styled blade, BK16 handle. I made it in trade for some Kydex work from Clayton, and it, along with the blades I sent him for kydexing, all vanished.

It's actually plain G10. Could be rit-dyed to another color, as it's actually a little more yellowed than the pictures show. I'll wait for Dubz to chime in and let me know if he wants something different.
 
that's pretty cool looking -- I don't have a problem with the stock handles, but they are definitely none too long.

Nice! That looks like the perfect handle length. I get about 3.5 fingers on the tweener handle the way it was deigned to be gripped.

I love the Idea, while I don't have bear paws I can appreciate needing a little extra real estate for your mitts :D And just out of curiosity did you thicken them up as well?
