Bk 16 tune up and action pics

After added tomars micarta and mrn8 orange g10 liners. Feels much better in my hand with the new scales and liners. Thanks mrn8

Split some seasoned mesquite and no chips dents or rolls.

Fire making, I made some wood curls and made tinder.

Tried carving a spoon like object. The 16 is very comfortable with extended use.

After wood processing, shaving, carving and spark throwing. The 16 still slices ripe limes like a razor.

Overall I really like the new micarta scales and liners. They make the bk 16 even better.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I really prefer the FPR BK16 blade over the FFG model. I have the FFG style and I like it, but it's basically the same as the ESEE 4. I'll be getting the BK17 with micarta soon though. I think I'll be content with that. Really like the "mini bk2" style of the FPR...

the combo of the liners and micarta gives that 16 some good character. I've yet to pickup a 16, dang....it's gettin harder and harder to resist.

I agree with malice on the fpr vs ffg though. I've got two esee 4s already
