Well, Here is my BK-2 after about 4 weeks.. I replaced the stock Grivory handles with the Canvas Micarta handles.... and used a $1.69 worth of Forrest green RIT die to change the handle color and viola...

I am very happy with this knife and how it performs.... I can't believe it took me this long before I got one... It splits wood effortless... is a cinch to get razor sharp and is about as natural of a fit in my hand as a knife could be...

It will be seeing the woods alot this summer....:D

Good looking knife, Harv24. I don't know how permanent the dye job will be, since I don't think the micarta actually absorbs dye, but it sure looks good right now.

You've discovered what a lot of other people have discovered: until you have a BK-2, you really can't understand what all the fuss is about. Once you have one though, you're in love.

Hi,
My names Greg,
and I'm a Campanion addict. In fact, I just fine tuned up the convex on it tonight. It's shaving sharp. Much sharper than the PUMA Duke I have lashed to the face of the sheath. Wish I had a Cordura sheath with a pouch though like the 7 & 9. Great place to keep a smaller knife for fine work.

I am also interested in whether or not the dye job holds up.
Please keep us updated in the coming days/weeks.

That green looks good. Is the pack in the background a Kelty MAP 3500, it looks familiar?
Don't forget to paint the sheath OD green.

Looks Great.

Keep us updated on how the color wears with time.
