I was wondering about fixes to that honking belt loop on the BK-2 sheath. I've heard the esee-5 sheath fits it well, but I really don't want to spend the money on that. (Times are tough) How do you mod it so it The BK-2 sheath to fit a 1.5 inch belt loop? I know people have done it, but I can't figure the best way. Could I sew it? would it hold? Is there a EXTREMELY cheap and easy way to mod it? Thanks and God Bless.

Kind of the same idea as what Warrior did with his, but probably much cheaper.

Basically, I sewed a credit card into the part that attaches to the sheath to give it more rigidity, and then sewed up the top part. You don't have to do the whole thing I did, but you could, and it only cost me about $4.

It seems to be holding just fine (the sewing that is).

Did the same as ocnLogan way back when.

Works a charm, holds extra stuff (ezlap diamond sharpening credit card thingy and a fresnel lens) and is pretty simple to do. Inner tube keeps it all together and gives some grip to your pants so it doesn't slide around as much either.

Thanks for posting gang. That mod is money.

Cheap, easy and looks like it will be a big improvement over stock.

The ranger band ideas looks like one could easily add and daisy chain a fire rod and maybe a small flashlight along for the ride.

Looks like I have a project this weekend.

When Made my leather one I added some of the leftover leather to the old one just to have a few more options it took no more then 5mins and cost very little hope it helps!
