BK 5 seconds??

Good morning all,

Anyone know of a source for a BK 5 second? I'm looking for a working knife as I'm not really a collector (although my wife might argue that point, every time I pick up the laptop she says "No more knives!").

I'd consider a reasonably priced used one as well.

Keeping an eye on eBay as well, just thought I'd ask while I lurk on the Knifemakers "For Sale" forum to see if a knife I have my eye on gets a price drop today.

As far as I know, there are no factory seconds. Part of Ka-Bars Company Philosophy, nothing that's bad in any way leaves the factory.
 
Wait do you want a used BK5 or are you looking for a "second" as in something with defects from the factory being sold for cheaper?

what you want is gently used :) see the for-sale/trade forums.

ebay you're going to find mostly new merch these days, with some stuff sprinkled in, and people aiming to get collector prices for the older stuff. go figure ;)
