That looks very nice, but what prevents the blade from slicing through the stitching? It doesn't look like there is a welt sandwiched in there.

It was glued and double stitched. Even without glue the leather is tight against each other. I have tried to create an issue but so far couldn't make one appear. A welt works but the blade could ride on either side of it as well. Time will tell as well.I'm a new though.
