Well, I've said before that I wanted a sub 3" blade to carry with me(pesky local laws, but I try to follow all of them). So I decided to take Bladite's advice and make my own. I jus spent the last few hours in the garage making this. I need to pick up some stripper and polish it, but without further ado I give you the BK7-11

here are some more pics of the process.

Awesome little knife. You should get that flat grind all the way up to the spine, that should make it a wicked little slicer.

now, you're all set to rob a convenience store :)

Came for the 7, I only saw the 11... robbed.
Squint real hard.

Good work.
Thanks

I was trying to emulate the BK7, although performance-wise that is a fine idea.

Outstanding job man. Nice even grind.

Thanks. I could get one side perfect, but matching it is near impossible. I respect the profesionals now. I'm glad It came out decent

Or my wife, she holds all the cash I hear.:)

looks more like a mini BK10

Yeah, but 11-10 isn't a local convevience store, nor is 7-14,10-14.....7-11 was the only option.

That looks cool. Does remind me of a mini 10, if, that is, it had a mini thumb ramp, lol.

Thats awesome.
I like it much better than the original version.

I finished polishing it today so here is the proof. I measured it with calipers and there is almost exactly 1mm difference. It was a little over 4mm(4.23) to start with so it's roughly 25% thinner.
