Just finished putting the new micarta handles on my Camillus BK7 and it makes the knife really cool and feels great in the hand. I had to push the washers down into the handle with a small screw driver and a hammer to make sure they were in all the way in the cut outs for them so that they would catch the screw when I tightened them up with the hex wrench. Anyone have any better ideas to make it a little easier since I may want to change these micarta slabs onto my BK9 or BK2? I have always liked my BK7 with the old handles, but now it feels really good to hold in the hand with these handles. Anyone heard if the slabs are coming out for the Becker Necker?

Cool deal, just need to be patient. I can just imagine how good the Necker will feel with the micarta slabs since they add a whole new feel to by BK7!

and they better be the right color too :)

PURPLE!

yes!

Purple? That's not the color you showed in your [great] pictures from Blade! Do you know something that we don't know? Really, now, purple? Hmmn ... on second thought ... that would be kind of different, wouldn't it?

of course, i .. uh .. know things.

for instance, the new Becker lineup will be called "Joy of Beckersu", and will come with Lilac scented handles (hence the purple), and be made of really authentic materials :) The micro serrations will make mincemeat of mince, and meat. Look for them in a retailer near you :>

I knew you knew, that is to say that I know you know, and now you know that I know that you know. "Joy of Beckersu," huh? I knew that something was cooking, but I didn't know that it was lilac scented and purple. Are these the new secret micro serrations (the ones that aren't shown on page 486 of Joy of Beckersu), and are they only for mincing meat, or will the mince other things, too? C'mon, tell, I know you know things, and the time for telling is coming up ... soon.

Well, how about any ideas to make switching the micarta scales easier?
