Wow. What a great design. Kudos and thanks to Ethan Becker and Camillus on this one. It's one knife I would go afield with any day of the week and twice on Tuesdays.

I recently bought a Becker 9 and I too really like it.

I did some testing last week, chopping though a wooden crate, bringing the knife down two handed with all of my might. The BK9 made mincemeat of the crate. Of course I wore my safety goggles  The edge did not chip or roll, and was still quite sharp by the time I had finished. I'm very happy with it.

I was just going to start a post asking about this knife. I've been thinking about picking one up when the gun show comes to town tomorrow.

How does the handle feel? It looks a little odd.

Ergonomics are good. Many people will say that the handle feels too slippery, but I personally think it is OK. The three holes where the handle is bolted together can cause blisters on your hand with hard use.

But on the other hand, the GV6H handles are supposed to be indestructable. And I think the smashing protrusion at the end of the handle is pretty cool.

The "9' is great knife especially for the price. If you like it now, wait until you use it.  :D
