I picked up a blank recently that has been heat treated and am looking to finish. Since my 5 other beckers will stay in the family as hierlooms I wanted to finish this one as a real field blade instead of a collectable. I thought about making the grind angle a little steeper and putting black micarta handles on it instead of trying to locate the originals. Lastly I would like to KG kote or finish the blade in dark green. Those of you that are familiar with the Becker series might have thought what could have been done to make the BK 9 better, I am looking for your input.
