BK-9 Question from a newbie

Hi all,

Last week I ordered a BK-2 and a BK-9 from Amazon. When they arrived, the Combat Bowie didn't have a BK-13 Ramora included with it, even though every review I'd seen on the BK-9 said it came with one. So I called Amazon and had them send me a replacement, and the replacement showed up without a BK-13 as well.

So my question is, did they stop including the Ramora with the BK-9?

If so, it's too bad, but I'm not about to let it get me down. I decided to keep both BK-9's anyway, now that I've got them in my hands. They're too cool to let go.

You Beckerheads are bad influences on me. I now have three BK's in a week, and I already want to fill out my collection with all the other models I don't have. On top of it all I want to start messing around with the grinds and finishes, and add new scales and sheaths to all of my Beckers. I really want my own versions of Clich's bleached BK-5, Devilpig's BK-9 Ka-beck fighter, and I want to turn my other BK-9 into a version of Bryfry's awesome Junglas.

These Beckers really are addictive things, aren't they? It's gonna be hell on my wallet when the Machax and Tweeners come out.

Yeah mine that I got maybe 5 or 6 months ago didn't have one. I believe that was only for a little while that they had them.

The BK13 only came with the BK9 and BK7 for a short amount of time. It was apparently a promotional thing, and they haven't been doing it for quite some time (over a year I think).

The BK9 is a great buy though, it was my second becker, and probably the one that goes with me on each camping trip. Its a beast, but just wait until you get a BK2, that thing just screams beastly in all of its forms.

Stick around and get your BeckerHead number, its totally worth it :).

Thanks for the info, guys. That makes me feel better.

And Logan, my BK-2 is sitting right next to me beside my twin BK-9's. You're right. It's a wee monster of a knife. I've never felt a blade that size that was so heavy. I love it.

DOH! I fail at reading :(. Thats what I get for trying to multitask :).

Thats a great combo though, there isn't much that you can't do between them out in the woods.

I got a deal for you, send me one of those BK9's and I will send you a Remora.

The 13 that used to come with the 9's was made in China. Now they are made in USA and not free anymore. They still fit in the sheath though ;)

Oh, and you better post up pics, or we're gonna say you are lying, which, you probably are, since you have no proof. :D

Welcome to the Becker forum, wasatchdan. And Bladeforums.

We are bad influences, but it could be worse. We could be showing off our motorcyles and handguns. Well, damn, nevermind....:D

Three good purchases, every one of them.

Stick around, and get us some pictures, we like pictures.

Niiiice, guys. I need a motorcycle. But since I don't have one, I'll just have to post pics of my lovely bag o' doom. With my new Beckers, of course.

I have no idea how to post these to this page without the pics being huge on the screen, hence the links.
