I got carried away today, just wanted to add some sharpness and I ended up with something more, i like it a lot...maybe i leave it this way

i don't know can you see the blade angle on photos but tried to make is convex as possible given the tools

Did you strip it by hand sanding it or did you use an epoxy remover? There a lot of good (and fairly inexpensive) finish removers on the market. If you used a chemical remover what brand was it. If not how long did it take to hand sand it?

That's nice! I was thinking of doing that too,:)

any plan of removing the tool marks and turning it to mirror finish?
 
that would be phase 2 probably, mirror finish, i wanted to do leave the part with inscriptions since i am going to have them engraved, after that i will probably strip it whole, i used old proffesional german knife machine with 2 stones, 2 belts and 2 of ....dunno the name....well these...

but i am thinking of leaving epoxy on the top and the spine part since it is for batoning and prying...extra protection couldn't hurt and it makes it unique....
