Hello, I would like some in-put from y'all on the BK series knifes, I just started an account and watched a video on the bk 2 bk 11 bk 9. They look nice but we all know looks aint everything..lol. ok please bear with me I'm new. Thanks. Tuck.

For knives in that price range they're highly regarded. Maybe even the best at their price point.

I agree with Shotgun and Facebacon. Spend a little time in the BK subforum and I think your questions and or concerns will be answered.

Swing on over. We don't bite, hard. Lots of knowledge, fun people, and good inexpensive steel to be had. Ask any questions ya like over there, but be as specific as you can to your wants/ needs, likes/dislikes and the Becker folk won't steer you wrong.

You'll see a bunch of guys beatin' the fire outta our Beckers and them wanting more. Built for abuse and hard use.

Becker - "Knives that work". They aren't the prettiest (unless Clich owns it), but they just flat out work. Ka-Bar's heat treat of the 1095 steel is as good as it gets, so even though it's not a super steel, it's a steel that works hard for a very long time.

They don't really have much competition in their price range. Pick up the Necker if you're curious, they're cheap but very useful.

I hate to be a contrarian but I would not vote Necker. I think Becker really shines at the bigger blades. The smaller ones seem awkward to me...worst of all the Necker if you have large hands...the bottle opener will dig into your palm.

On the other hand, the BK7...now there's a knife. Tough, light, balanced, great handle (either the original or the upgraded micarta). Sheaths are atrocious though...down there with Mora or worse. So at the price point, they would seem to be outstanding but unless you can tolerate the sheaths, you will want to upgrade. I made my own.

You happened to pick my favorite three Becker models ( so far ). What would you like to know? All three of those are fantastic.
