Well, I finally got a chance to play a little with the BK-10 I won in the Becker photo contest, and get some pictures of it also. I recieved the knife a couple weeks ago and only handled it a bit. Shaving some arm arm hair to see how sharp it was. This is the sharpest Becker I have used, and I have had 10 of them. All of my Beckers have come shaving sharp. They seem to be sharper than any of the other factory knives I have used(TOPS is as sharp, maybe a bit sharper). The crewman slices through card board very nicly, a lot better than my Campanion. Seems to slice as well as the CU7 I used to have. It seems like it might be a little more stout than the CU7 with a slightly thicker tip, which I like. I did some light chopping of branches(1/2"-1") with the Crewman and Campanion. The Campanion is the better chopper, But not by much. There were times when they seemed equal. This kinda suprised me because I thought the Campanion would be the clear winner, but it chops only slightly better than the Crewman. I will have to do some more chopping later and compare more.

The Campanion has been my favorite Becker and still is, But the Crewman comes close to being #1. The Crewman Chops about as well, has the hammer butt, has a finger gaurd, can be used for light prying, and slices better:D. The only reason the Campanion is still my favorite is prying. I used it one time in the deconstruction of a deck:D. I abused it pretty good and it only had scuff marks. It is tough and I feel like it could get me out of a car or building the hard way:D :p. But if any first time knife buyers ask me what kind of fixed blade to get, I am going to reccomend the Crewman.

Well I hope I did not ramble too much:), this is the first review I have done. Some photos can be seen here: http://community.webshots.com/album/67758594DXdsrL

Thank you Will and Ethan for the contest and a Great knife:)
