Hi everyone,

Long-time lurker and silent BK enthusiast here. For personal reference, I made a spreadsheet of every BK&T model known up to this day.

BK&T by era database spreadsheet

Since some of the info came from the forum, I’d like to share it with you all. Maybe it could even be included in the database sticky post.
If I missed any models, or you spot any errors, or have ideas on how to expand the spreadsheet meaningfully, let me know :)
All images are included in the Google sheet itself, so they shouldn’t disappear if hosts go offline.

In time, I’d like to include more details like blade length, thickness, and information concerning different generations.

Have a great day!

Edit 07.26.2024: changed link above to new era sorted WIP spreadsheet. original here: BK&T database spreadsheet

Very well done! Thanks for sharing!

My observations:

1. The BK72 was also available with a black DLC blade as an option.

2. I have a Black Jack Becker Divetul that predates the BK3. It is stainless and its shape is different.

3. The BK11 had a carbon san mai version, the BK11csm.

4. I’m pretty sure the Remora had several different versions.

5. There’s a sabre grind BK16 too.

might be better to break it up into manufacturing eras: Cincinnatti; Efingham/Blackjack; Camillus; Kabar
then list the models made in each era, since the steel type and thickness changes with each maker

Good call. I started by just listing all the BK references, and it grew from there, adding more info on the older versions. It's probably a bit confusing as it is, since Blackjack era knives didn't go by the BK references. I'll try to rearrange accordingly.

I don't have much to go on regarding Cincinnati Era knives. As far as I'm aware, we're only talking about the Machax, right?

Update!
Most model specs (size/weight) are taken from the manufacturer's description, but I believe many are quite inaccurate.
Feel free to comment inside the spreadsheet so I can add or correct any information, or if you can confirm based on the knives in your collections :)

Be up to Bladite Bladite , that's his baby.

i'm basically 1-2 generations out from maintaining that, esp since the 4th time the forums got updated / moved / managed, all the permalinks and hours of work died.

Spreadsheet works though, is likely more portable, permanent; possibly a wiki post or a Discord...

Welcome to the modern era of data and losing it...

just to be funny, since the BK #s came much later in the history, and "not in order", i tend to not consider them "accurate", just model #s...

Machax, Campanion, Magnum Camp, Reinheirdt, Brute, MANY DivTuls (before there was a TacTul by name), that's like half the line, in first generation... a lot of 4040, and other steels, stainless too...

Camillus decided on their own ordering #s... certainly not in correct order lol. Brute as #1? sigh... but there we added the Patrol Machete, The 7, the 9, got our classic CroMang, stainless, exotic steels...

most of the details in the database are in order my era, and most of the #s should be correct, as i actually weighed my sampled, measured, traced, used calipers to measure true thickness...

I have what I believe to be a Blackjack era (1994 +/-) Resq/DivTul. The only markings on the high polish or plated blade are:
BK&T
S.S.

and, it is in a Eagle Industries kydex lined sheath.

When I figured out how to post pictures, I can/will. Hopefully the link works.🤞🏻
I don’t find much information on the brigh blade version(s) but, I did find one picturesd in the 1994 catalog.
Any insights or information would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Cool piece of Becker history!
Here's your picture
Not sure how long https://imgbb.com/ will keep it available.
