So, does anyone know if there might be any truth to there being a BK&T neck knife, or have i just been pining away hopelessly?

martial life,
Nice weather we are having....

Keep in mind we, Ethan and CAMILLUS, are CONSTANTLY working on new BK&T products....we have proto's of a few new models....we aren't sure what we will unleash next:p

You think a BK&T neck knife would be a good thing?

You heard it here first!

I'm bucking to be the Matt Drudge of the knife world!!

You want truth? I'll give you the truth...There I was gently fondling the Becker neck knife, admiring its lines, marveling at its curves and the cool feel of the coated steel beneath my fingers, and I began to think..."Noone is going to believe me if I just tell them about this. I need to take a picture."

It was quite fortunate at the time that I just happened to be a photographer equipped with a Canon EOS 10D digital SLR. So, I stepped up to snap a picture with my 70-200 image stabilized "L" grade lens, and just as I felt the shutter release just about give, my battery went dead.

So, do you believe me??? Heh, heh.

It certainly would kick all form of ass. I would love to see Ethan develop a neck knife. Of course I also wanted a BK&T folder.

Please say that a neck knife is at least a possibility.

I dunno...A Becker "BK" neck-knife...Can you imagine a shorter version of the BK-10 Crewman (with the thick "Becker" handle) hangin' around your neck?.:D.

I already have one... but I tell ya, sometimes that bk9 gets petty damn heavy around my neck. :D

Of Course IT Would Be!! I love my arclite(though not the flag version, which arrived last nite). It is a wonderful knife, but it's only fault is that the recurve blade can be annoying to sharpen, and it's a bit too fragile. I accidently dropped it last week and it bent the tip. :( I'm sure that a Becker would be much better, with a 3.5 inch blade(3 is nice, but a tiny bit small for some of us). That and an inch to the handle would be great. I don't propose you go with a super wide blade(like the bk-10 looks compared to a bk-7), but still a thicker on than the arclite. DON'T make it a tanto point!!!!!! There is already too many of them on the market. Spear point would prolly would the best. I'd pay as much as i would my bk-7 for it if it reaches my expectations. And yes, the handle should be cord wrappable, and a finger guard(perhaps similiar to the one on the BK-7) would be be about as good an idea as any.
