Does anyone recognize this Becker knife? If so who made it and what would be the ballpark value?

recognize it just fine :) right down to where that photo is from ;)

it's listed in a very briefly in the Becker Blade DataBase (BBDB), and we've been talking about it in other threads the last few weeks - go find the posts.

doesn't have an assigned number per se. Ethan can probably say lots more. i need to get more specs on this to fill out the BBDB actually - it's not listed in any literature i have, and i keep forgetting.

naughty! we're not allowed to ask about value here - forum rules - price spotting - that kinda thing.

Ha,Ha you sly devil you.
I have been looking and reading the other posts on this, and my question is, Is it real not a copy.
Sorry about asking price.

The tape on the box means it's a fake. But I'll still give you $20 for it because that's what I am. A giver. :p :D

I have one of those. I believe I bought it in the early nineties. It lived in my truck for many years and I occasionally used it to clear brush from my favorite campsite in the California desert. It now lives in my safe and only comes out when I go to the aforementioned campsite. It still looks new. Very light and fast for a kukri. More of a light machete than a hard use chopper. I think it was made by Blackjack. It was my very first (but not last!) Becker. I wish I had kept the box.......
