BK&T Reinhart kukri info wanted.

I know some one who has one of these, and I would like to know more about it. It looks like a CS Gurkha kukri with a Becker handle. The blade has some sort of grey coating and has BK&T and Reinhart markings. The sheath is black leather. I would very much like to know how much it is worth (in exc. cond.). Thanks.

The coating is electrostatically applied gray powdercoat.
The steel is 1095.

One of my favorite bushwhackers.

There are 3 Reinhardt Kukri's out there for you BJK fans.

1)AUS-8, kraton handle thick blade made in Japan.
2)440-a. bead blasted BKT handle made in USA
3)1095, gray powdercoat, made in USA (prob the best one)

The japanese model goes for around $200.
All the others bring $75-100

You always have the best shots of things we do not see too often! Got any pictures of the Blackjack/Reinheart combat khukuri from 1991 era? I really love that production Khuk the best. It does not compare to a HI khuk, but as far as production ones go, I love it. IIRC they were a hand ground, convex ground edge. Done in Seki, Japan. Very good quality. I do not remember the steel used though. I wish I could post a pic of mine. I finally have the digital camera. Now to figuire how to post pictures. I may have to go Gold member, just for the picture aspect.
