Several customers[knifeknuts] have mentioned wanting extra sets of BK&T scales to "experiment" with modifications. If you want another set of scales to "play with" call customer service @ 800-344-0456. They are $5 per pair plus S&H.

Have fun.....I like sandblasted scales on the smaller models myself

The nuts and bolts aren't in danger of becoming loose on their own from normal use of the knife, are they? Just wondering, since it sounds like it would be pretty easy to change handle scales.
