Received my new BK&T knife Monday seems very well made and sharp I think the handle is a little wide, at least for my hands. Yesterday I noticed the Kydex sheath is cracked (below where the cordura belt loop is attached to the Kydex), How can I repair this? What is the best (sanitary) way the clean the grease from the blade? I don't think i want this grease in contact with food. Thanks.

We will be happy to replace your sheath for you. Please contact the customer service folks @ 800-344-0456, and they will make arrangments to send you a new sheath. We would like the old one back to inspect the flaw, and discuss with the vendor that made it for us!
The rust prevent on the blade is Vaseline, and if you are using the knife for food prep, warm soapy water should clean it right off!
