BK1 coating on my Benchmade Barrage 580SBK?

I am curious as to how durable the black finish is on my new Benchmade Barrage 580SBK? I used to have a Cold Steel Recon 1 and the black coating on that knife scratched easily (imo). So far, I'm very pleased with my new Benchmade. It opens fast, locks up tight and is very sharp.:thumbup:

The coating is way more durable than the recon 1s. I feel bk1 is 3 steps ahead of Teflon, but 1 step below that of DLC like spyderco paramilitary 2's coating
