BK1 Sheath still hasn't arrived!

Sorry, but I'm annoyed now. I was told through e-mail and phone that I'd have my replacement BK1 sheath by the first week of April. I don't have it and have heard nothing from Camillus. I've tried to contact them a couple of times in the last week and have had no reply. Camping season in Minnesota is upon us, and I've been carrying my BK1 wrapped in a towel in my daypack. Obviously, this isn't my choice of carry! I hate to b*tch like this, but I don't know what else to do. (by the way, my sheath broke from a 3 foot drop onto carpeting and Camillus, after seeing the pics I sent them, said it was an "obvious defect") I just want to know if they are going to replace it or if I should have a (probably expensive) custom made. Be well!
 
Talk to Eric at ON SCENE TACTICAL. He hooked me up and he's very reasonable. He made a sheath for my Campanion.
 
If i were you I would either call or email camillus everyday until i finally got my sheath. Personally i like to call and get the name of the person who is helping me. I've found over the years that if you get a name then the person very often feels like it's their responsibility and something will get done. as my grandmother used to say it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease, just keep it up camillus will make it right. good luck, ahgar

and by the way you have every right to complain this is ridiculous. anybody can have a brittle sheath slip through but if you do then you take care of the customer asap. it doesn't take many threads like this to give people a bad taste about a certain brand. just my opinion sorry i'm a little cranky.
 
camillus service sucks-
they have had my dominator for 4 plus weeks-

not sure if ill ever buy another camillus product,and i am a local who would rather spend on them than anyone else -
 
I had to wait about 4 weeks and make a dozen phone calls to get my replacement BK-9 sheath. I should have just sent $50.00 to Survival Sheath Systems, the wait would have been shorter and I would have gotten a superior sheath. Live and learn.
 
Thanks for the support, guys! I really do hate to complain, but this is just bad CS to me. I was told one thing, and it hasn't happened. If they had e-mailed me or called to tell me the sheath is delayed, then fine. No problem. But, I haven't heard a thing. I absolutely love the BK1 knife, but I want to have it at my side and not in a backpack! I'll refrain from mentioning who sent me the e-mail and called (same person)...for now.:confused:
 
I finally received my sheath, although the snap closure was riveted on backwards (so, when it's snapped, you see the bottom of the snap). No big deal; Being kydex, I rarely use the snap-closure anyway. If I do, I'll make it work. I'm just happy to have a sheath for the spectacular BK1!
