Finally got here today...with all the bells and whistles :D. I really like the linen handles, the grinds, and the finish (or lack thereof). I also really like the thumb ramp; this is my first fixed blade with one. Not sure if I am going to keep it yet though, much less use it. Gonna get some pics later and post them up. I don't like the sheath and I am not sure I like the price either (my main sticking point:grumpy:). I am not complaining just putting both sides out there (not looking for grief or "encouragement", I will be ordering a 14 after I put my daughter to bed:D)

(or an 11)

hmmmmm....
;):D

well, keep it six months. flip it for $500 :) or something :>

that 10 is beautiful, shame i didn't know about this Becker fallowing till now

could of gotten a number :(

o well, they will probably remake it soon

I missed out, too. Not to worry though. There are lots of new models coming out this year to spend our money on.

Might not be too late they had a few left last week. Give KaBar a call.

Right, the Beckerhead number was only a requirement for the intial offering. Anyone can buy one now. Even an ESEE lover :D

Oh, and as for the sheath.... actually better than the standard black 5/7/9 sheath, imo. I'm very partially to the Spec Ops sheaths now. You can get the combat master sheath on that Big South American River website with free shipping for a little less than normal price.

oh wow, ill give them a call tomorrow

how much are they going for? 150?

Yeah, plus $6 for standard shipping, $8 for expedited. If you're gonna drop the cash, spring the extra $2.

It also includes the micarta handles which would normally go for about $45 shipped. So it's really not that much more than a regular production Becker.

true... at msrp ;)

these are limited offer customs :)

two sets of handles. special blade treatment.

when they're gone, you can always pay more on the secondary market :}

or wait a couple years :P
